From Mindset to Metrics: How Test Data Management Accelerates DevOps Transformation with Real‑World Results
In this talk, they will share the journey of implementing a Test Data Management (TDM) service using icaria TDM within a large organisation moving toward a DevOps model. As teams accelerate delivery, embrace continuous testing, and gain autonomy, effective TDM becomes essential to enable progress rather than limit it. They will describe how adopting modern TDM practices required mindset shift, helping teams rethink their relationship with test data and promoting transparency, collaboration, and shared ownership of quality. TDM strengthened DevOps principles by enabling earlier testing, reducing dependencies, and supporting continuous feedback, especially for PLST.
They will walk through the end‑to‑end preparation of requirements, from identifying and prioritising the real needs of different teams to designing a service model that integrates icaria TDM into existing workflows. A key part of this journey was close collaboration with an external partner, showing how working with a specialised product team can accelerate adoption and ensure alignment with internal processes and long‑term goals. They will also present a successfully delivered use case, highlighting the KPIs used to measure impact and how reliable test data improved efficiency and enabled faster feedback.
