As part of your sponsorship of expo:QA 2025, you are granted access to the contact details of attendees who have opted in to share their information with our 2025 sponsors. In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU Regulation 2016/679), you are kindly reminded of the following obligations:

1. Purpose Limitation

Attendee data may only be used for the purpose for which it was collected – namely, relevant follow-up communication after the event.

2. Consent

Contact must only be made with those attendees who have given explicit consent to be contacted, namely, those on the provided list.

3. Data Security

You are obliged to ensure that all personal data is stored securely and protected against unauthorised access.

4. Retention

Attendee data should not be retained longer than necessary. If you no longer have a legitimate reason to hold this data, it should be securely deleted.

5. Data Subject Rights

Attendees have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their data. Please be prepared to fulfil such requests in a timely manner.

6. Data Sharing

Sharing attendee data with any third party, that has not signed expressly signed a sponsorship contract with NEXO QA for expo:QA 2025, is strictly prohibited under GDPR and may result in significant penalties.

7. Data Breaches

You are required to notify the relevant parties of any breaches that may involve this data in accordance with GDPR timeframes.
